Toiell Washington serves as the School-Based Initiatives Manager at Spartanburg Academic Movement, supporting school-based strategies that strengthen partnerships and expand opportunities for students and families. She is a social entrepreneur, strategist, and community leader working at the intersection of education, advocacy, and economic mobility.

With a background in community development and national youth-serving initiatives, Toiell has supported the advancement, implementation, and partnership development of workforce and education programs across the country. Her experience spans curriculum design, training and facilitation, convening, and systems-level strategy, with a focus on expanding access to resources in communities with limited opportunity.

Beyond her work in national organizations, Toiell is the founder of The Master’s Tools, a game company that creates interactive learning experiences designed to spark critical conversations around equity and access. Through this work, she blends education, storytelling, and play to make complex issues more accessible and engaging across classrooms, organizations, and community spaces.

Toiell holds a Master of Public Administration from Northeastern University. Her work has been featured by outlets and institutions including The Boston Globe, CBS News, and Harvard University.
