The Story of Hello Family
Several years ago, the City of Spartanburg and Mary Black Foundation built a vision around ensuring that every child in Spartanburg arrives at school healthy, thriving, and ready to learn. It grew into a coalition of dozens of partners, informed by research and driven by community voice. By January 2022, that vision became a reality through Hello Family. With multiple funders and stakeholders, the City of Spartanburg now offers a support system that can reach every new family, tailored to each family's needs, thus meeting them where they are.
