Simone is a Spartanburg native where she graduated Cum Laude from the University of South Carolina- Upstate with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and a minor in African American Studies in 2021. She has previously worked at Project R.E.S.T. and the Spartanburg County Foundation. Simone is an active member of Gamma Mu Zeta Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated, where she participates in various service projects. She enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and her dog, Apollo.
