Wardlaw Center Announces Spring 2026 Training Dates

The Wardlaw Center for Improvement Science has announced its Spring 2026 training calendar for Spartanburg County educators and education-based program partners!  Whether you're beginning your journey into continuous improvement or ready to lead change with your team, our Continuous Improvement 101 and Continuous Improvement 102 courses offer the tools, frameworks, and inspiration to make meaningful progress in your schools.

🔍 CI 101: Principles of Continuous Improvement

Time: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Location: SAM Office (Lunch Provided)
Cost: Free for Spartanburg County educators

This 5-hour workshop introduces the Carnegie Foundation’s 6 Core Principles of Improvement through collaborative problem-solving. Participants explore case studies to identify problems and develop theories of improvement and are introduced to a methodological framework and CI tools that can be applied to a variety of problems.

🛠️ CI 102: Tools & Methodologies for Teams

Time: 9:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Location: SAM Office (Lunch Provided)
Cost: Free for Spartanburg County educators
Date & Registration:

Prerequisite: CI 101 completion
Best experienced as a team.
This 7-hour workshop guides teams through root cause analysis, crafting aim statements, and testing change ideas using PDSA cycles. It’s ideal for educators leading improvement efforts -teachers, coaches, administrators, and district staff.  Participants experience all stages of the CI framework for problem solving and leave with actionable next steps for their team.
