Naomi Israel joins Spartanburg Academic Movement as a Postsecondary Access Coordinator. Naomi fell in love with education and the way it connects people with opportunities during her college years and has continued the work into her career. She comes to SAM after seven years of working in College Admissions and Enrollment Services.

Originally from Asheville, NC, Naomi has made Spartanburg County her home since 2019. She loves Spartanburg and enjoys seeing the ways the area continues to grow. In her free time, she enjoys finding new local spots, traveling, reading, yoga, crafting, and spending time with her pets.

Naomi holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications and Political Science with a concentration in Public Advocacy from UNC Charlotte. She also holds a Master’s in Management and Professional Leadership from Converse University.
