Jauntavia Padgett
Director of Advocacy
Jauntavia Padgett serves as Director of Advocacy, leading policy and systems change to strengthen opportunities and outcomes for students and families in Spartanburg County.
With experience ranging from the South Carolina State House to the White House, she has worked across the nonprofit and private sectors to shape policy, build coalitions, and engage communities. Jauntavia also serves on the Lyman Planning Commission and as a Drill Sergeant in the U.S. Army Reserves, reflecting her deep commitment to service and leadership.
She is the author of Speaking Up for Good! (2023) and holds a Political Science degree from Coastal Carolina University. Jauntavia grounds her work in service and leadership, with a focus on building stronger communities and brighter futures.
