David Hill joins Spartanburg Academic Movement as a Continuous Improvement Coach, bringing nearly 10 years of experience in education. Beginning his career as a special education teacher, David quickly developed a passion for helping students with autism and other learning differences thrive in inclusive environments. His leadership abilities led him to the role of education coordinator, where he oversaw school programs and focused on enhancing educational accessibility and support for diverse learners.

A graduate of USC Upstate, David is pleased to return to Spartanburg, a community he values for its strong sense of connection and shared pride. Now residing in Greer, he is eager to contribute to the impactful work at SAM by collaborating with educational leaders to drive positive outcomes for students across the county.

Outside of his professional work, David enjoys spending time outdoors, including hiking, cycling, and camping with his wife and their dogs. He is also passionate about designing and building, a hobby that complements his creative and problem-solving skills.

David holds a Bachelor of Arts in History with a concentration in Secondary Education from USC Upstate and a Master's Degree in Education: Instructional Coaching from Clemson University.
